The chair
Seraphin Carbon
Folds in seconds. Flies anywhere.
From A$4,999
In detail
Every part, accounted for
The frame
3K twill carbon fibre, bonded into aluminium lugs. It folds in seconds and lifts like luggage, not equipment.
The battery
Clips out from under the seat for the flight. Its safety data sheet and watt-hour rating ship in the box.
The motors
8 km/h — inside the 10 km/h Australian footpath limit. No belts, no gears to service.
The wheels
Solid polyurethane tyres. Nothing to pump, nothing to puncture, nothing to think about at the gate.
The control
One hand, four directions, no learning curve. The module swings clear so you can pull up to a table.
Two promises
Buying a chair you haven't sat in is the hard part. These exist to make that decision reversible.
Your money back
Thirty days to decide. If the chair isn't right, send it back in saleable condition and we pay the return freight.
Original packaging required. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Airline-ready
Airline approval is required for any battery over 100 Wh — so every chair ships with the documents to ask for it, plus a one-page guide to flying.
Notify your airline around 48 hours before you fly.
The documents airlines ask to see
Most people find out at the gate that they needed paperwork nobody mentioned. Ours ships with the chair.
UN38.3 certificate
The lithium transport test every airline can ask to see. We hold a passing report for the battery in your chair.
Safety data sheet
The MSDS airlines request for lithium packs, classified for air, sea and road transport.
Watt-hour rating
Marked plainly on the pack, because the number airlines apply their limits to is watt-hours, not amp-hours.
Self-managed or plan-managed NDIS
You don't need a registered provider to buy from us, and we'll give your occupational therapist what they need without a three-week wait.
- OT spec sheets Full specifications in the format your therapist needs for a reasonable-and-necessary justification.
- Formal quotes, quickly Line-itemed quotes with the relevant support codes, usually the same day.
- Care+ as a plan line item Structured so repairs and maintenance can come from your plan rather than your pocket.
- What we're not We are not currently an NDIS-registered provider, so we can't serve agency-managed participants. We'll say so upfront rather than waste your time.
